Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2012 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2012 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the LocalGovernment(Operations)Regulation 2010. 3 Amendment of sch 1 (Prescribed information about local governments) (1) Schedule 1, entry for Ipswich, column 3, ‘LGB 35 edition 1’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 35 edition 2’. (2) Schedule 1, entry for Somerset, column 3, ‘LGRB 60’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 60 edition 1’. 4 Amendment of sch 3 (Implementing local government changes relating to changes of the boundaries of local government areas) Schedule 3, part 1— insert — ‘5 Change in external boundaries of the Ipswich and Somerset areas ‘(1) The part of lot 1 on plan SP218481 within the Ipswich City Council’s local government area on 6 September 2012 is excluded from the Ipswich City Council’s local government area and included in the Somerset Regional Council’s local government area. ‘(2) The local government change mentioned in subsection (1) takes effect on 7 September 2012.
