Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the LocalGovernment(Operations)Regulation 2010. 3 Amendment of sch 1 (Prescribed information about local governments) (1) Schedule 1, entry for Fraser Coast, column 3, ‘LGRB 28 edition 2’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 28 edition 2’. (2) Schedule 1, entry for Gold Coast, column 3, ‘LGB 30 edition 1’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 30 edition 2’. (3) Schedule 1, entry for Gympie, column 3, ‘LGRB 32 edition 2’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 32 edition 2’. (2) Schedule 1A, entry for Gympie, column 3, ‘LGB 32 edition 1’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 32 edition 3’. 5 Amendment of sch 3 (Implementing local government changes relating to changes of the boundaries of local government areas) (1) Schedule 3, part 1, section 1— insert— ‘(3) The part of lot 1 on plan SP233609 within the Gympie Regional Council’s local government area on 26 January 2012 is excluded from the Gympie Regional Council’s local government area and included in the Fraser Coast Regional Council’s local government area. ‘(4) The local government change mentioned in subsection (3) takes effect on 27 January 2012. ‘(5) The part of lot 1 on plan SP186935 within the Fraser Coast Regional Council’s local government area on 26 January 2012 is excluded from the Fraser Coast Regional Council’s local government area and included in the Gympie Regional Council’s local government area. ‘(6) The local government change mentioned in subsection (5) takes effect on 27 January 2012. Note — A copy of the change commission’s report titled ‘Report on a change to the external boundaries of the Fraser Coast Regional Council and Gympie Regional Council’ dated November 2011 can be viewed on the website of the Electoral Commission Queensland.’. Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 [s 5] ‘4 Change in external boundaries of the Gold Coast and Logan city council areas ‘(1) The tidal watercourse surrounding lot 130 on plan W3192 is excluded from the Gold Coast City Council’s local government area and included in the Logan City Council’s local government area. ‘(2) The local government change mentioned in subsection (1) takes effect on 27 January 2012.
