AMENDMENT ACT 1985 No. 209—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance

of section 2 (2) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions)
Amendment Act 1985, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September

1992 as the day on which Schedule 2 (3) to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence a provision which contains

amendments to section 133 of the Local Government Act 1919. Those amendments
provide for all appeals made under that section to lie to the Land and Environment
Court, irrespective of the value of the property involved.
