s4 3 s4 Local Government Legislation Amendment No. 234, 1999 (No. 2) ‘ Division 2—Other local government areas ‘ Banana shire ‘ 6.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Divisional Boundaries Banana Shire Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The Banana shire is divided into 2 divisions shown on map number LGB 8 edition 3. ‘ (3) The number of councillors assigned to each division are as follows— (a) division 1—5; (b) division 2—7. ‘ Bauhinia shire ‘ 7.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Composition and Divisional Boundaries Bauhinia Shire Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The divisions of the Bauhinia shire are abolished. ‘ (3) The area of the undivided shire is shown on map number LGB 11 edition 3. ‘ (4) The local government for the shire consists of a mayor and 8 other councillors. ‘ Beaudesert shire ‘ 8.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Divisional Boundaries Beaudesert Shire Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The Beaudesert shire is divided into 8 divisions shown on map

s4 8 s4 Local Government Legislation Amendment No. 234, 1999 (No. 2) ‘ Duaringa shire ‘ 20.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Composition and Review of Boundaries Duaringa Shire Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The local government for the Duaringa shire consists of a mayor and 10 other councillors. ‘ (3) The number of councillors assigned to each division are as follows— (a) division 1—3; (b) division 2—7. ‘ Gold Coast city ‘ 21.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Divisional Boundaries Gold Coast City Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The city of Gold Coast is divided into 14 divisions shown on map number LGB 58 edition 5. ‘ (3) One councillor is assigned to each division. ‘ Hervey Bay city ‘ 22.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Divisional Boundaries Hervey Bay City Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The city of Hervey Bay is divided into 8 divisions shown on map number LGB 62 edition 3. ‘ (3) One councillor is assigned to each division.
s4 9 s4 Local Government Legislation Amendment No. 234, 1999 (No. 2) ‘ Ipswich city ‘ 23.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Divisional Boundaries and Composition Ipswich City Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The city of Ipswich, excluding areas E and F shown on map number LGB 66 edition 4, is divided into 10 divisions shown on map number LGB 66 edition 5. ‘ (3) The local government for the city consists of a mayor and 10 other councillors. ‘ (4) One councillor is assigned to each division. ‘ Johnstone shire ‘ 24.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Divisional Boundaries Johnstone Shire Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The Johnstone shire is divided into 6 divisions shown on map number LGB 70 edition 2. ‘ (3) The number of councillors assigned to each division are as follows— (a) division 1—3; (b) divisions 2 to 6—1. ‘ Kolan shire ‘ 25.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of September 1999 called ‘Review of Composition Kolan Shire Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The local government for the Kolan shire consists of a mayor and 8 other councillors.
