Part 2 Amendment of Local Government (Areas) Regulation 2008 3 Regulation amended This part amends the LocalGovernment(Areas)Regulation2008. 4 Amendment of sch 1 (Information about local governments) (1) Schedule 1, entry for Charters Towers, column 3, ‘LGRB 17’— omit, insert— ‘LGRB 17 edition 2’. LGRB 17 edition 2 shows the external boundaries of the local government area of the region of Charters Towers with the Charters Towers/Flinders relevant area included.’. 9 Amendment of schedule (Dictionary) (1) Schedule— insert — ‘ Charters Towers/ Flinders relevant area means lot 4180 on plan PH143 identified in attachment B of the Charters Towers/Flinders report as part of the local government area of the shire of Flinders. Charters Towers/Flinders report means the report of January 2009 called ‘Local Government Electoral and Boundaries Review Commission—Report on a change to the external boundaries of the Flinders Shire Council and Charters Towers Regional Council’.’. (2) Schedule, definition relevant area — insert — ‘(p) the Charters Towers/Flinders relevant area.’. (3) Schedule, definition transfer day — insert — ‘(i) for the Charters Towers/Flinders relevant area—17 April 2009.’.
