s1 2 s4 Local Government Legislation Amendment Regulation No. 99, 2005 (No. 1) 2005 Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2005 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 July 2005. Part 2 Amendment of Local Government (Areas) Regulation 1995 3 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the LocalGovernment(Areas)Regulation 1995. 4 Amendment of sch 1 (Information about local governments) (1) Schedule 1, entry for Maroochy, column 3, ‘edition 8’— omit, insert— ‘edition 9’. (2) Schedule 1, entry for Noosa, column 3, ‘edition 7’— omit, insert— ‘edition 8’.

s5 3 s8 Local Government Legislation Amendment Regulation No. 99, 2005 (No. 1) 2005 Part 3 Amendment of Local Government (Limited Reviewable Local Government Matters) Regulation 2002 5 Regulation amended in pt 3 This part amends the Local Government (Limited ReviewableLocal Government Matters) Regulation 2002. 6 Amendment of s 3 (Receiving local government) Section 3— insert — ‘(m) for the Noosa/Maroochy relevant area—the Council of the Shire of Noosa.’. 7 Amendment of s 4 (Transferring local government) Section 4— insert — ‘(m) for the Noosa/Maroochy relevant area—the Council of the Shire of Maroochy.’. 8 Insertion of new s 6G Part 2— insert — ‘6G New external boundaries for the 1 July 2005 transfer day—Maroochy and Noosa local governments ‘(1) Map no. LGB82 edition 9 shows the external boundaries of the local government area of the Shire of Maroochy with the Noosa/Maroochy relevant area excluded. ‘(2) Map no. LGB100 edition 8 shows the external boundaries of the local government area of the Shire of Noosa with the Noosa/Maroochy relevant area included.’.

s9 4 s9 Local Government Legislation Amendment Regulation No. 99, 2005 (No. 1) 2005 9 Amendment of schedule (Dictionary) (1) Schedule— insert — ‘ Noosa/Maroochy relevant area means the part of Lorikeet Drive identified in attachment B of the Noosa/Maroochy report as part of the local government area of the Shire of Maroochy. Noosa/Maroochy report means the report of February 2005 called ‘Local Government Electoral & Boundaries Review Commission—Report on changes to the external boundaries of the shires of Noosa and Maroochy’.’. (2) Schedule, definition relevant area — insert — ‘(m) the Noosa/Maroochy relevant area.’. (3) Schedule, definition transfer day — insert — ‘(g) for the Noosa/Maroochy relevant area—1 July 2005.’.
