s1 3 s4 Local Government Legislation Amendment Regulation No. 181, 2004 (No. 1) 2004 Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2004 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 10 September 2004. Part 2 Amendment of Local Government (Areas) Regulation 1995 3 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the LocalGovernment(Areas)Regulation1995. 4 Amendment of sch 1 (Information about local governments) (1) Schedule 1, entry for Booringa, column 3, ‘edition 1’— omit, insert — ‘edition 2’. (2) Schedule 1, entry for Warroo, column 3, ‘edition 1’— omit, insert — ‘edition 2’.

s5 4 s8 Local Government Legislation Amendment Regulation No. 181, 2004 (No. 1) 2004 Part 3 Amendment of Local Government (Limited Reviewable Local Government Matters) Regulation 2002 5 Regulation amended in pt 3 This part amends the Local Government (Limited ReviewableLocal Government Matters) Regulation 2002. 6 Amendment of s 3 (Receiving local government) Section 3— insert — ‘(h) for the Booringa/Warroo relevant area—the Council of the Shire of Booringa.’. 7 Amendment of s 4 (Transferring local government) Section 4— insert — ‘(h) for the Booringa/Warroo relevant area—the Council of the Shire of Warroo.’. 8 Insertion of new s 6D Part 2— insert — ‘6D New external boundaries for the 10 September 2004 transfer day ‘(1) Map no. LGB128 edition 2 shows— (a) the external boundaries of the local government area of the Shire of Warroo with the Booringa/Warroo relevant area excluded; and (b) the divisional boundaries of the local government area of the Shire of Warroo with the Booringa/Warroo

LGB18 edition 2 shows— (a) the external boundaries of the local government area of the Shire of Booringa with the Booringa/Warroo relevant area included; and (b) the divisional boundaries of the local government area of the Shire of Booringa with the Booringa/Warroo relevant area included in division 3 of the local government area.’. 9 Amendment of schedule (Dictionary) (1) Schedule— insert — ‘ Booringa/Warroo relevant area means the following areas identified in attachment B of the Booringa/Warroo report as part of the local government area of the Shire of Warroo— (a) lot 16 on Crown Plan WV 347; (b) the part of Amby Springfield Road; (c) the part of the esplanade adjoining the Maranoa River; (d) the part of the bed and banks, within the meaning of the Water Act 2000 , of the Maranoa River. Booringa/Warroo report means the report of April 2004 called ‘Local Government Electoral & Boundaries Review Commission—Report on the limited reviewable local government matter affecting Booringa Shire/Warroo Shire—Changes to the external boundaries of the area of the Shire of Booringa and the area of the Shire of Warroo’.’. (2) Schedule, definition relevant area — insert — ‘(h) the Booringa/Warroo relevant area.’.
