s1 2 s4 Local Government (Implementation of Reviewable Local Government Matters) Amendment (No. 1) No. 12, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Implementation of Reviewable Local Government Matters) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2000 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the LocalGovernment(ImplementationofReviewable Local Government Matters) Regulation 1999 . ˙ Amendment of s 3 (When implementation takes effect) 3. Section 3(2), definition “commencing day” — omit, insert— ‘ “commencing day” , for a reviewable local government matter for a local government or the local government area of a local government, means the day on which the provision relating to the local government or area commences.’. ˙ Insertion of new s 5A 4. Part 2, division 2, before section 6— insert— ˙ ‘ Aramac shire ‘ 5A.(1) This section implements the reviewable local government matters recommended in the local government electoral and boundaries review commission report of January 2000 called ‘Review of Composition Aramac Shire Council, Final Determination’. ‘ (2) The local government for the Aramac shire consists of a mayor and 7 other councillors. ‘ (3) The number of councillors assigned to each division is as follows— (a) division 1—3; (b) divisions 2 and 3—2.’.
