134 (i) urttsbttt^ ANNO VICESIMO SEPTIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 18 of 1978 An Act to validate , approve, ratify and make lawful all acts, matters and things done prior to 12 December 1977 in the purported exercise or performance of functions, powers, duties and authorities pursuant to the provisions of the LocalGovernmentGrantsCommissionAct 1976 [ASSENTED TO 2ND JUNE, 1978] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Local Government Grants Commission (Ratification of Actions) Act 1978. 2. Principal Act. In this Act the LocalGovernmentGrantsCommission Act1976 is referred to as the Principal Act. 3. Things purporting to have been done under the Principal Act. Any act, matter or thing done prior to 12 December 1977 which was done in the purported exercise or performance of a function, power, duty or authority pursuant to any provision of the Principal Act is hereby validated, approved, ratified and made lawful notwithstanding that it was done prior to the commencement of the Principal Act, and shall be deemed to have been authorized by the Principal Act.
