Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to increase the minimum amount that may be specified by a council when section 748 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Local Government (General) Amendment (Minimum Rates)
Regulation 2014.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2014 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Local Government (General) Regulation 2005

Clause 126 Minimum amounts of rate

Omit “$474”. Insert instead “$485”.
