Local Government (Functions and General)

Amendment Regulations 1998

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Functions and General) Amendment Regulations 1998.

2.             Regulation 11 amended

Regulation 11(2) of the Local Government (Functions and
General) Regulations 1996* is amended as follows:

(a)

in each of paragraphs (a), (b) and (d) by inserting “ to be ”;

(b)	in paragraph (e) by inserting after “are” — “ to be ”;
(c)	after paragraph (e) by deleting “or” and inserting instead —

“

(ea) the goods or services are to be supplied —

(i) in respect of an area of land that has been incorporated in a district as a result of an order made under section 2.1 of the Act changing the boundaries of the district; and

(ii)      by a person who, on the commencement of the order referred to in subparagraph (i), has a contract to supply the same kind of goods or services to the local government of the district referred to in that subparagraph;

or

”.
