Local Government (Fraser Coast Regional Council—Dismissal of Councillor) Amendment Regulation 2018 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Fraser Coast Regional Council—Dismissal of Councillor) Amendment Regulation 2018.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Local Government Regulation 2012.

3   Insertion of new s 253

Chapter 8, part 1, division 3—
insert—

253   Dismissal of councillor—Act, s 122

(1)At 10 a.m. on 16 February 2018, the nominated councillor is dismissed as a councillor of the Fraser Coast Regional Council.

Note—

Subsection (1) gives effect to a recommendation made in writing by the Minister, on 6 February 2018 under section 122(2)(c) of the Act, that the Governor in Council dismiss the nominated councillor. See also section 122(3) of the Act.

(2)This section expires on 17 February 2018.

(3)In this section—

nominated councillor means Christopher David Loft.
