Local Government Finance Authority Regulations 2016

under the Local Government Finance Authority Act 1983

1Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Local Government Finance Authority Regulations 2016.

3Interpretation

In these regulations—

Act means the Local Government Finance Authority Act 1983.

4Prescribed local government bodies

For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of prescribed local government body in section 3 of the Act, the following bodies are prescribed:

  1. (a)

    Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (South Australian Division) Incorporated;

  2. (b)

    Local Government Professionals South Australia Incorporated;

  3. (c)

    Murray Darling Association Incorporated;

  4. (d)

    a joint planning board established under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 in accordance with a planning agreement where 1 or more parties to the agreement are councils.
