Local Government Finance Authority Regulations 2001

under the Local Government Finance Authority Act 1983

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Local Government Finance Authority Regulations 2001.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Revocation

The Local Government Finance Authority Regulations 1987 (see Gazette 19.11.1987 p1633), as varied, are revoked.

4—Interpretation

In these regulations—

Act means the Local Government Finance Authority Act 1983.

5—Prescribed local government bodies (section 3)

For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of prescribed local government body in section 3 of the Act, the bodies set out in the Schedule are prescribed.
