s1 2 s4 Local Government Finance Amendment Standard No. 253, 2001 (No. 2) 2001 1 Short title This standard may be cited as the Local Government Finance Amendment Standard (No. 2) 2001 . 2 Standard amended This standard amends the Local Government Finance Standard 1994. 3 Amendment of s 2 (Definitions) (1) Section 2, definition “LGA arrangement” — omit, insert — ‘ “LGA arrangement” means an arrangement— (a) entered into by— (i) the Local Government Association; or (ii) a company registered under the Corporations Act if the association is its only shareholder; and (b) that would be a purchasing arrangement if entered into by a local government; and (c) for which the procedure set out in section 14 1 has been followed by the association or company as if it were a local government.’. (2) Section 2, definition “relevant business activity” , ‘section 771’— omit, insert — ‘section 772 2 ’. 4 Amendment of s 16 (Assessment of local and regional issues) (1) Section 16(1)— insert— ‘(ba)disaster mitigation; and’. 1 Section 14 (Procedure for establishing purchasing arrangements) 2 Section 772 (Definitions for ch 10) of the Act
