s1 2 s5 Local Government Finance Amendment Standard No. 172, 2006 (No. 1) 2006 1 Short title This standard may be cited as the Local Government Finance Amendment Standard (No. 1) 2006 . 2 Standard amended This standard amends the Local Government Finance Standard 2005. 3 Amendment of s 4 (Policies to be prepared and complied with for financial management) (1) Section 4(1)(a) and (e)— omit. (2) Section 4(1)(b) to (h)— renumber as section 4(1)(a) to (f). 4 Omission of s 5 (Requirement for acquisition of goods and services policy) Section 5— omit . 5 Amendment of s 50 (Procedure if auditor-general requires changes to financial statements) (1) Section 50, heading, from ‘if’ to ‘to’— omit, insert — ‘ for amended ’. (2) Section 50(1)— omit, insert — ‘(1) This section applies if a local government amends its financial statements for a financial year after the statements are presented to a meeting under section 49.’.
