2 Local Government (Engineers and Overseers of No. 406, 1992 Works) Amendment (No. 1) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Engineers and Overseers of Works) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1992 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Local Authority Engineers and Overseers of Works Regulation 1988 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Replacement of s.1 (Short title) 3. Section 1— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Short title ‘1. This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Engineers and Overseers of Works) Regulation 1988 . ’. ˙ Amendment of s.5 (Interpretation) 4.(1) Section 5 (heading)— omit, insert ‘Definitions’. (2) Section 5 (definition “prescribed fee” )— omit . (3) Section 5— insert— ‘ “corporate member” means a person who has been admitted or transferred to Corporate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia under the regulations or by-laws of the Institution, that provide for membership of the Institution; ’.
