These regulations are the
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;
(b) the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.
These regulations amend the
In regulation 3 in the definition of
(a) who is a silent elector as defined in the
Electoral Act 1907 section 4(1); or
Delete regulation 12A(3)(b)(i) and insert:
(i) that the claimant is a silent elector under the
Electoral Act 1907 ;
Delete regulation 13(1A)(b)(i) and insert:
(i) that the person is a silent elector under the
Electoral Act 1907 ;
Delete regulation 20(2) and insert:
(2) Subregulation (1)(c) and (d) do not apply to silent electors.
Delete regulation 46(4)(b) and insert:
(b) the register of electors, a roll or another document prepared under the
Electoral Act 1907 ; and
In regulation 62(3)(b) delete “an electoral roll or other” and insert:
the register of electors, a roll or another
In Schedule 1 Form 16 delete “an electoral roll or other” and insert:
the register of electors, a roll or another
