468 Local Government (Chinatown Mall) Act Amendment Act 1987, No. 37 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Chinatown Mall) Act Amendment Act 1987. (2) In this Act the Local Government (Chinatown Mall) Act 1984 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Local Government (Chinatown Mall) Act 1984-1987. 2. Amendment of s. 5 . Establishment of Mall. Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (1) the words "appointed day" and substituting the words "commencement of the Local Government (Chinatown Mall) Act Amendment Act 1987". 3. Amendment of s. 20 . Establishment of committee . Section 20 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (2)- (a) in paragraph (a) the words "or, if he is the alderman referred to in paragraph (b), the Vice-Mayor of the City,"; (b) in paragraph (b) the word "area".
