I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Local Government (Building Regulation) Amendment Act 1989, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 1993 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

The effect of this Proclamation is to commence section 304A of the Local Government Act 1919. The new section requires the Crown to comply with the technical provisions of the State’s building laws. These provisions are prescribed by Ordinance No. 70 under that Act.
