The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Local

Government (Audit) Regulations 1996*.

Regulation 13 amended

Regulation 13 is amended in the Table as follows:

(a) under the heading “Local Government Act 1995” —

(i)      after “s. 5.58” by inserting — “ s. 5.66 ”;

(ii)      after “s. 5.98” by inserting — “ s. 5.98A(1) ”; and

(iii)      after “s. 6.13” by inserting — “ s. 6.16(1) and (3) ”;

(b) under the heading “Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996” —

(i)

by deleting “r. 14(1) and (3)” and inserting “ r. 14(1), (3) and (5) ”;

(ii)      by deleting “r. 18(1)” and inserting instead — “ r. 18(1) and (4) ”; and

(iii)      after “r. 24” by inserting —

“

r. 24E r. 24F

”.
