s1 2 s3 Local Government (Areas) Amendment Regulation No. 78, 2005 (No. 1) 2005 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Areas) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2005 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the LocalGovernment(Areas)Regulation 1995. 3 Replacement of pt 3, div 3 (Abolition of joint local government) Part 3, division 3— omit, insert— ‘Division 3 Willows Sports Complex Joint Board ‘11 Abolition of Willows Sports Complex Joint Board ‘The Willows Sports Complex Joint Board and its area are abolished. ‘12 Apportionment of Willows Sports Complex Joint Board’s assets and liabilities ‘(1) This section provides for the apportionment of the Willows Sports Complex Joint Board’s assets and liabilities between its component local governments. ‘(2) The joint local government’s assets and liabilities are apportioned between Thuringowa and Townsville city councils on the basis of the number of persons in each local government area who live in the joint local government area. ‘13 Expiry of pt 3, div 3 ‘This division expires on the day after it commences.’.
