HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Local Government and Other Authorities (Superannuation) Act 1927, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Local Government and Other Authorities (Superannuation) Regulation 1978 is amended by omitting clause 20.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Local Government and Other Authorities (Superannuation) Regulation 1978 so as to remove a clause which provides that, where a servant of an employer is eligible to be or becomes a member of the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Scheme, certain specified employment benefits provided to the servant are to be treated as salary for superannuation purposes. This matter is now dealt with by the Local Government and Other Authorities (superannuation) Act 1927.
