s1 2 s3 Local Government Amendment Regulation (No. 2) No. 197, 2006 2006 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2006 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the LocalGovernmentRegulation2005. 3 Amendment of s 79 (Persons eligible for membership of the scheme—Act, s 1181) Section 79(1)— insert— ‘(e) a person— (i) who became a member of the scheme because the person was a person of a type mentioned in paragraph (c) or (d) or in any of paragraphs (a) to (e) of section 1181(1) of the Act; and (ii) who has stopped being a person of that type; and (iii) whose benefit under the scheme has not been fully paid out, withdrawn or transferred from the scheme.’.
