s1 2 s4 Local Government Amendment (No. 1) No. 159, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Local Government Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Local Government Regulation 1994 . ˙ Insertion of new pt 13 3. After section 44— insert— ‘ PART 13—SUPERANNUATION ˙ ‘ Local government entities—Act, s 761 ‘ 44A. The following entities are local government entities for chapter 13 of the Act— • Dauan Island Council • Gold Coast Arts Centre Pty Ltd • Regional Galleries Association of Queensland Inc • Townsville Thuringowa Water Supply Board. ˙ ‘ Interest payable on outstanding contributions—Act, s 779 ‘ 44B. For section 779 of the Act, the rate of interest is 14%.’. ˙ Amendment of pt 13 (General) 4. Part 13— renumber as part 14.
