s1 2 s3 Local Government Amendment (No. 1) No. 104, 1995 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Local Government Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1995 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Local Government Regulation 1994 . ˙ Insertion of new s 35A 3. In part 11— insert— ˙ ‘ Who may be appointed as authorised persons—Act, s 676(1) ‘ 35A. The following persons are prescribed for section 676(1)(b) of the Act, 1 for appointment by a local government (the “appointing local government” ) as an authorised person— (a) a person who contracts with the appointing local government to provide services to it for the administration and enforcement of a local government Act; (b) a person who is an employee of an entity that contracts with the appointing local government to provide services to it for the administration and enforcement of a local government Act; (c) a person who is an employee of another local government and who performs duties for the appointing local government under an arrangement between the appointing local government and the other local government.’. 1 Section 676 (Appointment)
