(Filming) Act 2000 No 6—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Local Government Amendment (Filming) Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 4 September 2000 as the day on which sections 1, 2 and 3 and Schedule 1 [4]–[6] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence provisions of the Local Government Amendment (Filming) Act 2000 that insert a new Division in Part 1 of Chapter 7 of the Local Government Act 1993 (which allows applications for approvals, consents and other determinations by a council necessary to carry out filming to be made in one form.)
