I, the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Local Government Act (No. 2) 1990 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, rix the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which sections 13, 14, 15 and 16 of the Local Government Amendment Act (No. 2) 1990 shall come into operation.
