I, the Governor, acting under the Local Government Amendment Act 2012 section

2(b) and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix—

(a) the day after the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which the following provisions of that Act

come into operation—

(i) sections 39 and 40(b);

(ii)   section 41, to the extent that it inserts section 10(4)(c)(ii);

(b) 1 July 2013, as the day on which sections 14 to 18 of that Act come into operation.
