s1 4 Local Government Amendment Act 2007 The Parliament of Queensland enacts— s6 No. 60, 2007 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Local Government Amendment Act 2007 . 2 Act amended This Act amends the Local Government Act 1993 . 3 Omission of s 159ZY (Polls) Section 159ZY— omit . 4 Amendment of s 160 (Procedures before exercise of certain powers) Section 160(2)(aa)— omit . 5 Amendment of s 164 (Dissolution of local government) Section 164(1)(a), ‘, including by contravening section 159ZY(1),’— omit . 6 Insertion of new ch 19, pt 13 After section 1275— insert — ‘Part 13 Transitional provision for Local Government Amendment Act 2007
