LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT (SCHEDULE 3.1) AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS 1997

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council under section 3.25 (2).

Citation

1.    These regulations may be cited as the Local Government Act

(Schedule 3.1) Amendment Regulations 1997.

Schedule 3.1 to the Act amended

2. Schedule 3.1 to the Local Government Act 1995* is amended in

Division 1 by inserting after item 5 the following item —

CC

5A. (1) Ensure that overgrown vegetation, rubbish, or disused material, as specified, is removed from land that the local government considers to be untidy.

(2) In this item —

"disused material" includes disused motor vehicles, old motor

vehicle bodies, and old machinery.
