Local Government Act Order 2001

After consultation with the Sorell Council and being satisfied that it is appropriate to do so because there are no reasonable prospects of selling the relevant land within a reasonable time, I make the following order under section 140(2) of the Local Government Act 1993 .4 February 2001

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Local Government Act Order 2001 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Transfer of land to CouncilThe land situated at 20 Raynors Road at Midway Point in Tasmania comprised in Folio of the Register Volume 63343, Folio 13 is declared to be transferred to the Sorell Council.
