AN ACT to amend the Local Government

Act, 1960-1970.

[Assented to 8th October, 1970.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Local and citation.

Government Act Amendment Act (No. 2), 1970.

(2) In this Act the Local Government Act, reprint 3rd

1960-1970, is referred to as the principal Act.

amended. 2. Paragraph (n) of section 512 of the principal Act is amended by adding after the figures "1911" in line twelve the passage ", and may so sell any waterworks or water supply constructed and purchased or procured with money so borrowed and that are vested in it".
