His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Local Government Act 1993.

This Regulation increases from $295 to $302 the maximum amount of the minimum ordinary rate that a council may, without special Ministerial approval, make under section 548 of the Local Government Act 1993.
This Regulation is made under the Local Government Act 1993, including sections 548 (3) (a) and 748 (the general regulation-making power).

This Regulation is the Local Government (Rates and Charges)

Amendment (Ordinary Rates) Regulation 1999.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Clause 6A of the Local Government (Rates and Charges) Regulation 1993 is amended by omitting the matter “$295” and by inserting instead the matter “$302”.
