LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1919 - ORDINANCE

(Repealing certain obsolete Ordinances)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Local Government Act 1919, has been pleased to make the Ordinance set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Ordinance commences on 1 July 1990,

Repeal

2. Ordinances Nos. 56 and 69 under the Local Government Act 1919

are repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Ordinance is to repeal Ordinances Nos. 56 and 69 under the Local Government Act 1919. These Ordinances provide for the licensing by councils of premises used for the sale of meat, fish, poultry, game and smallgoods or as refreshment rooms.

The Ordinances concerned are made obsolete by the enactment of the Food Act
