LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1919—ORDINANCE

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Local Government Act 1919, has been pleased to make the Ordinance set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Ordinance commences on 1 January, 1993.

Amendment

2. Ordinance No. 46 under the Local Government Act 1919 is

amended:

(a) by omitting from clause 184 (1) the matter “$28” and by inserting

instead the matter “$29”;

(b)	by omitting from clause 184 (1) the matter “$21” and by inserting instead the matter “$22”;
(c)	by omitting from clause 184 (2) the matter “$55” and by inserting instead the matter “$57”; and
(d)	by omitting from clause 184 (2) the matter “$21” and by inserting instead the matter “$22”;

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend Ordinance No. 46 under the Local Government Act 1919, so as to increase (by approximately 3.1 per cent) the charges for sewerage services provided by a council for lands that are not ratable under Part 14 of that Act.
