Local Government (Aboriginal Lands) Act Amendment Act 1369 1990, No. 76 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen' s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled , and by the authority of the same , as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Aboriginal Lands) Act Amendment Act 1990. (2) In this Act, the Local Government (Aboriginal Lands) Act1978-1981 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Local Government (Aboriginal Lands) Act 1978-1990. 2. Amendment of s. 36. Sale and supply of beer in Shires. Section 36 of the Principal Act is amended, in subsection (4), by- (a) omitting the words "section 81" where they firstly occur and substituting the words "sections 58 (1), 59, 60, 61, 61A, 61B, 61C, 61D, 79, 80, 81, 82, 95 and 152 to 159 (both inclusive)"; (b) omitting the words "of section 81" and substituting the words ,.of provisions"; (c) adding at the end of the subsection the following words:- "The provisions of section 58 (1) of the Liquor Act1912-1990 authorizing a court to order the forfeiture of a license within the meaning of that Act do not apply in relation to a person who, by virtue of this section, is deemed to be the licensee of licensed premises within the meaning of that Act.".
