An Act to authorise the Transfer of certain Loan Moneys.

HEREAS the moneys borrowed for public purposes under Preamble.

occasions in excess of the amounts required for the purposes W the authority of Acts of Parliament have been on various

authorised by the said Acts: And whereas it is desirable to appropriate certain sums so borrowed which remain unexpended, or unlikely to be required, to purposes other than those for which they were borrowed-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Parliament of South Australia,

1, The sums of money received by the Treasurer in excess of the Applicationof

requirements of the public works set forth in the first column of the set forth in the second column of the said Schedule, and which sums of money are more particularly set forth in the third column of the

said Schedulc, shall bc applied by him to the construction of the

public works and for the other purposes set forth in the Schedule

B hereto, and to the extent therein set forth, and shall be so applied by the Treasurer in such amounts and manner as the Governor, by any warrant under his hand, countersigned by the Chief Secretary,

may from time to time authorise and direct.

2, So much of the moneys to be applied by the Treasurer afore- salaries to be -C-
