An Act for the Re-appropriation of portion of certain

moneys appropriated for Harbour Works at Fremantle,

by The Loan Act, 1884.'

Preamble HEREAS by ' The Loan Act, 1884,' the Governor was em-

Wexceeding in the whole Five hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds powered to raise under the said Act any sum or sums not sterling, to be expended on the construction of the Public Works mentioned and enumerated in the Schedule to the said Act ; And whereas by the said Schedule a sum of One hundred and five thousand pounds was appropriated for Harbour Works at Fremantle' ; And whereas the construction of certain other Public Works in the Colony has become a matter of pressing necessity : Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

Loam Act, 1884—Re-appropriation, 1886

1. It shall be lawful for the Governor to appropriate and expend Appropriation

out of the said sum of One hundred and five thousand pounds so much thereof as may be necessary for the purposes of the Public Works enumerated in the Schedule hereto. Provided always that the sums expended upon any of the said works shall in no case exceed the amount appropriated thereto by the said Schedule.

2. The total sum of Seventy nine thousand five hundred pounds sumtnob-
