No. 32 of 1944.

AN ACT to authorise the raising of a sum of Nine hundred and Seventy-five thousand pounds by Loan for the construction of certain Public Works and Other Services.

HEREAS it is expedient to authorise the raising, by preamble.

Wway of Loan, of certain sums of money amounting in

all to Nine hundred and Seventy-five thousand pounds for the several purposes hereinafter mentioned: Be it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1.    This Act may be cited for all purposes as the Loan short title

2.   It shall be lawful for the Governor, from time to Power to

and all subsequent Loan Acts, and are hereby charged upon and shall be payable out of the Consolidated Rev- enue Fund and Assets of the Government of Western Australia.

The Governor may from time to time by warrant under his hand authorise the Treasurer to advance and apply to the purposes set forth in the Schedule to this Act any sums of money not exceeding in the whole the sum hereby authorised to be raised; and any sums of money so advanced and paid shall be retained by the Treasurer out of any moneys coming to his hands under the authority of this Act.
