Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that has, in accordance with subsection 8 (2) of the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Act 1964, taken into consideration the recommendations with respect to the amounts for the purposes of paragraphs 6A (1) (a), 6B (1) (a), 6C (1) (a) and 6D (1) (a) of the Act, made to the Minister by the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation, make the following Regulations under the Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Live-Stock Slaughter Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule 1 (Amounts of levy per head on the slaughter of live-stock)

3.1   Item 4, column 4:

Omit “38.2 cents”, substitute “32.1 cents”.

3.2   Item 6, column 4:

Omit “88.2 cents”, substitute “74.1 cents”.

3.3   Item 8, column 4:

Omit “$3.10”, substitute “$2.60”.

3.4   Item 11, column 4:

Omit “28.2 cents”, substitute “23.7 cents”.
