Slaughter Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Act 1964.

Commencement
1. These Regulations shall
come into operation on 1 October 1982.
Amount per head of cattle slaughtered
2. Regulation 4 of the Live-stock Slaughter
Levy Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “$3” and
substituting “$4”.
Amount per head
of buffaloes slaughtered
3. Regulation 6a of the Live-stock Slaughter Levy
Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “$3” and
substituting “$4”.
Amount
per head of calves slaughtered
4. Regulation 8 of the
Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (4) “$1” and substituting “$1.33”.
Amount
per head of bobby calves slaughtered
5. Regulation 9 of the
Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (4) “30 cents” and substituting “40 cents”.
