Slaughter Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting pursuant to section 4
of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 and
with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that has taken
into consideration the recommendations furnished to the Minister of State for
Primary Industry by the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation with respect
to amounts for the purposes of paragraphs 6a
(1) (a) and 6b (1) (a) of the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Act 1964, hereby
make the following Regulations under the Live-stock
Slaughter Levy Act 1964.

Commencement
1. These Regulations shall
come into operation on 1 September 1985.
Amount per head of sheep
slaughtered
2. Regulation 5 of the
Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (1) “18.2” and substituting “18.8”.
Amount per head of lambs
slaughtered
3. Regulation 6 of the
Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (1) “24.6” and substituting “28.8”.
