Slaughter Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Act 1964.

Commencement
1. These Regulations shall
be deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 1986.
Principal Regulations
2. In these Regulations, “Principal
Regulations” means the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations.
Amount per head of
cattle slaughtered
3. Regulation 4 of the
Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “$4” and
substituting “$3”.
Amount per head of
buffaloes slaughtered
4. Regulation 6a of the Principal Regulations is
amended by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “$4” and substituting “$3”.
Amount per head of
calves slaughtered
5. Regulation 8 of the
Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “$1.33”
and substituting “$1”.
Amount per head of bobby
calves slaughtered
6. Regulation 9 of the
Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “40 cents”
and substituting “30 cents”.
