Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under subsection 8 (2) of the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Act 1964, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. Regulation 5 shall come into operation on 1 March 1988.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations.

Repeal of regulations 4, 5, 6, 6a, 7, 8 and 9

3. Regulations 4, 5, 6, 6a, 7, 8 and 9 of the Principal Regulations are repealed.

 

Schedule

4. The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is omitted and the following Schedule substituted:

5. The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from item 1 “$3.30” and substituting “$9.80”;

(b) by omitting from item 4 “19.2” and substituting “29.2”;

(c) by omitting from item 6 “49.2” and substituting “59.2”;

(d) by omitting from item 13 “118.8” and substituting “352.8”; and

(e) by omitting from item 16 “33” and substituting “98”.
