(Amendment)

  

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that has taken into consideration in accordance with subsection 8 (2a) of the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Act 1964 the recommendation with respect to the amount for the purposes of paragraph 6c (1) (b), furnished to the Minister by the Australian Meat and Live-stock Research and Development Corporation, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 May 1991.

 

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Live-stock Slaughter Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

  

3.   Schedule 1 (Amounts of levy per head on the slaughter of

live-stock)

3.1   Item 9:

Omit “$1.25”, substitute “$2.00”.
