(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that has taken into consideration in accordance with subsection 13 (2A) of the Live-stock Export Charge Act 1977 the recommendations with respect to the amounts for the purposes of paragraphs 7 (1) (b), 8 (1), (b), 9 (1) (b), 10 (1) (b) and 11 (1) (b), furnished to the Minister by the Research and Development Corporation, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

 1. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1988.

Schedule

 2. The Schedule to the Live-stock Export Charge Regulations is amended:

  • (a)

    by omitting from item 2 “75 cents” and substituting “$1.25”;

  • (b)

    by omitting from item 5 “7.5” and substituting “12.5”;

  • (c)

    by omitting from item 7 “7.5” and substituting “12.5”;

  • (d)

    by omitting from item 9 “75 cents” and substituting “$1.25”; and

  • (e)

    by omitting from item 12 “7.5” and substituting “12.5”.
