Act to amend the Live-stock Export Charge Act 1977

BE
IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the
Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
Short
title etc.
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Live-stock
Export Charge Amendment Act 1987.
(2) The
Live-stock Export Charge Act 19771 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.
Commencement
2. This Act shall come into operation
on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Rate
of charge on export of cattle
3. Section 7 of the Principal Act is
amended by omitting from subsection (2) “$6.00” and substituting “$18.00”.
Rate
of charge on export of sheep
4. Section 8 of the Principal Act is
amended by omitting from subsection (2) “60 cents” and substituting “$1.50”.
Rate
of charge on export of lambs
5. Section 9 of the Principal Act is
amended by omitting from subsection (2) “60 cents” and substituting “$1.50”.
Rate
of charge on export of buffaloes
6. Section 10 of the Principal Act is
amended by omitting from subsection (2) “$6.00” and substituting “$18.00”.
Rate
of charge on export of goats
7. Section 11 of the Principal Act is
amended by omitting from subsection (2) “60 cents” and substituting “$1.00”.
