1  Name

This instrument is the List of Threatened Species Amendment (355) Instrument 2023.

2  Commencement

  This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under paragraph 184(a) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

4  Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Declaration under s178, s181, and s183 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999- List of threatened species, List of threatened ecological communities and List of threatening processes

1  In the appropriate position under the heading “SPECIES THAT ARE CRITICALLY ENDANGERED”

Insert each of the following species:

a)Euastacus binzayedi

b)Euastacus jagara

c)Euastacus maidae

d)Euastacus vesper

2  In the appropriate position under the heading “SPECIES THAT ARE ENDANGERED”

Insert each of the following species:

a)Euastacus eungella

b)Euastacus monteithorum

c)Euastacus robertsi

3  In the appropriate position under the heading “SPECIES THAT ARE VULNERABLE”

Insert the following species:
