(Polynesian Tiger Mosquito) Instrument 2019

I, Sussan Ley, Minister for the Environment, pursuant to subparagraph 303EC(1)(a)(i) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, and having considered a report under subparagraph 303EC(5)(a) of that Act, make the following amendment to Part 2 of the List of Specimens Taken to be Suitable for Live Import (29/11/2001):

1. Under the heading ‘Invertebrate Animals’, ‘Arthropods (Arthropoda)’
   ‘Class: Insecta" in the appropriate alphabetic position:

Add:

Taxon	Common Name	Conditions for Import
Aedes polynesiensis	Polynesian Tiger Mosquito	Research only. High security facilities only.

This instrument commences the day after registration.
